The Presidential Innovation Fellows program (PIF) is a highly selective 1-2 year fellowship based in Washington, DC, that pairs talented and mission-driven mid-to-senior-career technologists with government leaders to tackle complex initiatives and improve government digital services.
The PIF salary range is: $163K - $191K
The next PIF cohort starts in June 2025. They’re looking for experienced and dedicated data scientists, designers, engineers, executives, and technology strategists to help digitize the American government by delivering better, more accessible products, services, and experiences to the American public.
More than 250 fellows to date have contributed to efforts across dozens of federal agencies and are committed to reflecting the diversity of the people we serve. PIF are a multidisciplinary team of product designers, full-stack engineers, and VC-backed founders. They’re also artists, parents, immigrants, and veterans who share a passion for civic purpose—people helping people.
