Melanence, founded by Juan Young, is an online learning community for founders of color looking to accelerate their business. We provide a safe space for BIPOC entrepreneurs to learn from industry experts & create meaningful professional connections.
Why we are focusing on BIPOC business ownership?
Business ownership has long been a path to asset building and economic mobility. Not only does it offer the opportunity to improve the financial security of individual entrepreneurs, but it also serves as a gateway to individual and community wealth building. Unfortunately, though business ownership is a fundamental engine for wealth creation, entrepreneurs of color face several challenges that make it more difficult to leverage business ownership into an asset that leads to long-term financial security. Melanence exists to promote Black +Brown entrepreneurship, to provide access to educational resources, and to facilitate opportunities for entrepreneurs of color to build a strong melanated support system.
✨ We are currently raising capital via equity crowdfunding, and you can invest in Melanence starting at $99✨ Check out our offering page at: https://netcapital.com/companies/melanence.
