Empow(H)er Cybersecurity, founded by Tia Hopkins, is a non-profit organization focused on providing a safe space for women of color interested in or currently working in the field of cybersecurity. The goal of Empow(H)er Cybersecurity is to provide a platform for all women of color to grow their networks, be inspired, and feel empowered. The crowdsourced approach of the organization is aimed at fostering an environment where the activities and events facilitated by the organization are not only created for the member community, but also created by the member community.
